Part of a group of 12 YBU-4 slug units, Nos. 451 – 462, built by GMD in 1980. They have no engine and draw electrical power from the locomotive they are coupled to. They were originally mated with end-cab switchers but were later mated with a 7200 series GP9RM for yard service. Nos. 208 and 209 were modified to work with hump-service units in 1990 and were renumbered to Nos. 525 and 526.
