CN 3366 west bound at mile post 63 of CN’s Ashcroft Subdivision on July 27, 2025. Canada’s third trans-continental rail link, the Canadian Northern Pacific was completed near here on January 23, 1915. In a simple ceremony the last spike was driven and witnessed by a small group of engineers and workmen while today this historical site is marked by a plaque located at a highway pull off and viewing area.
