CN GP40-2W No. 9426 leads Via Rail train No. 75 as it approaches the junction at Bayview Ontario on April 16 1989. At Bayview the train will leave the Oakville Subdivision and move on to the Dundas Subdivision. Train No. 75 ran from Toronto Union Station to Windsor, Ontario. No. 9426 was one of a number of CN’s GP40-2Ws there were equipped with higher speed gearing and could be leased to Via Rail for passenger service when needed.
