No. 1408 was manufactured in April 1960 as six-axle GMD1 No. 1075 before being remanufactured in CN’s Point Ste. Charles shop as No. 1408, with four-axle trucks, in April 1989. It was sold to K&K Recycling for scrap.
No. 1440 was manufactured in September 1958 as six-axle GMD1 No. 1014. It was rebuilt as six-axle GMD1u 1610 in December 1988 before being remanufactured at Point Ste. Charles and released as No. 1440 on March 22, 1998. It was sold to Stewart Southern Railway in 2022 and was later scrapped by K&K Recycling.
