CN SD50F No. 5407 was built by GMD in May 1985 just a few months before it came to be sharing space with a trio of GP38-2s in Kamloops BC on August 31, 1985. The trio of GP38-2s (Nos. 5587 5503 5606) are likely the power for CN’s train to Kelowna.
No. 5407 was retired in May 2008 and subsequently scrapped. The GP38-2s have all been renumbered as Nos. 4787, 4703 and 4806 and all remain in service in 2026. (Glenn Courtney)
